The Due Date

Here we are, June 30, Evelyn's due date, and poor Sebastian is lying in bed with a fever. I am praying both Patrick and I stay healthy, as the thought of going into labor, and having a fever sounds pretty miserable. I wish that I could naturally go into labor but also know what day that would be. "Ahh, today I shall begin having contractions at 2:30pm, what do I need to get done before that?" Or something like that. Alas, that is not the way things work. One of the hard parts of the end of pregnancy is the waiting and uncertainty. Meanwhile, I am continuing to try and get things done around here without getting too apathetic. For example, I need to vacuum today, whether I want to or not. Okay kid, anytime now, I'm ready.
